On Sunday 17th January the Motorcycling Community once again showed their support and compassion for those in need. The Ride for South West Fire Relief was organised by Keith from On Two Wheels TV to help the poor buggers doing it tough down South, the people of Yarloop, Waroona and other towns affected by the recent bushfires.
Here’s what Keith had to say after the event:
What can I say, thank you thank you thank you, what a day.
Ok down to business here it is.
That is the total raised on the day, includes 1000 dollar cheque and cash from Ulysses Joondalup, $250 from a collection tin in spinnakers in Mandurah.
A big thank you goes out to the following:
Sunbreakers restaurant in Mandurah, Gayle ,Don and all their staff.
Mean Machines Morley.
Kerri from Laubman and Pank in Warwick.
The Military Brotherhood.
Everyone who donated goods for the auction.
All the guys and gals helping us out today especially Peter Palfery, the two dan’s and their girlfriends, Richard for driving the camera/auction car.
Finally everyone of you that came and donated money for a great cause, it’s hard to put into words but the site of all those bikes was moving, the motorcycle community is an amazing brother and sisterhood of people brought together by the love of two wheels, oh sorry and three wheels as well.
